Viral sa social media ang isang Facebook post kung saan nagbahagi ang isang netizen ng kakaibang karanasan niya sa isang online shopping platform.
Sa post ni Karl Revilla, ikinuwento niya ang pagkadismaya sa natanggap na order.
Umorder kasi siya ng Macbook Air na nagkakahalaga ng PHP53,885 ngunit iba ang natanggap niyang “item” nang i-deliver na ito sa kanya.
Ayon sa caption ng post:
Recent 5.5 budol ng Lazada: BATO
Supposedly Macbook Air M1 ang dadating pero BATO ‘yung nadeliver ng Lazada. I thought okay naman kasi Lazmall and okay mga review sa store nila
Sa halip na laptop ang natanggap, isang bato ang laman ang kahon na nakuha niya.
Nagtiwala pa naman daw siya dahil sa mismong LazMall siya umorder.
Agad niya itong ini-report sa customer service.
Talked to Lazada Customer Service and while they were calm and accommodating sa concern ko, as usual, ako pa rin mahahassle na magbalik ng BATO sa LBC, ask for a refund, etc. I could’ve easily left a bad review on the store but it is also possible that the seller wasn’t aware of this and someone in the warehouse did the switching. 🙁 It’s sad how people are able to resort to this kind of act.
Nagbigay agad siya ng update kinabukasan at sinabing ire-refund naman ng Lazada ang nasabing halaga ng laptop.

Lazada is refunding the whole amount! It would take 5-15 days for the amount to reflect sa account. Since many buyers have also shared their experience with the same store (bato/ bareta ang nadeliver) Lazada is now investigating all parties involved. Possible din daw na magclose din ‘yung mismong store if si seller talaga ang may kasalanan.
Nagpasalamat din siya sa dalawang Lazada agents na tumulong sa kanya.
Thank you sa dalawang Lazada agents for their assistance. I’m sure that there are several (similar) cases that aren’t being shared on social media and buyers just rely on the app for the refund, I hope they get the same quick response/ treatment too, or better yet build a system/ stronger set of policies that will prevent scammers to continue with their bogus operations.
Sa update naman niya kahapon sa parehong post, sinabi ni Karl na naibalik na sa kanya ang halaga ng laptop.

“Hi! I just saw this post, we have a store on lazada and shopee. This always happens with items that are a bit more expensive. The sellers send the proper items, thats why the box of the MacBook is intact. Then some of the delivery staff of lazada and shopee end up stealing the package inside and then replace it with different items. We’ve had cases where in they replaced it with stones, powdered juices etc.”
“Lazada will end up refunding you the entire cost and then your money will be refunded to your lazada wallet directly. The process takes about 2 weeks. Since both the seller and the customer will have to dispute it. Then lazada will see where the problem was. Then they usually just refund it.”
