“Obviously, it’s no longer my time.”

“But I’m still here and I’m still making raket. I’m still doing concerts and all that.

“But I’m very aware that it’s no longer my time, kasi we all are given naman our own time in the industry and in life in general.”

“And more than the fame right now, at this time of my life, I love that part because they listen to everything that I say.

“And they think they learn from me, and I hope they are.”

Bilang more senior singer, responsibilidad daw ni Regine na turuan ang new breed of singers.

“I believe that because I’ve experienced so many things, being in the business for 35 years or 36 years, I feel like it’s my duty also to pass it down, alam mo iyon, what I’ve learned…

“Otherwise, it will die with me. What is it there for?”
