Ito ang paniniwala ng Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Connect host na si Toni Gonzaga patungkol sa isyu na kinasangkutan ni PBB housemate Russu Laurente.
Nag-post sa Instagram ang host matapos ang PBB eviction night kagabi kung saan nga napalabas na ng PBB house si Russu.
Sinabi niyang na-evict si Russu dahil sa isang pagkakamaling nagawa nito.
Naging mabilis daw ang mga tao sa paghusga at nalimutan na 19-taong gulang lamang si Russu at maaaring hindi alam kung gaano kalala ang mga nabitiwang salita.

Back to work this 2021. For our 2nd eviction night housemate Russu was evicted because of a mistake he did that eventually made him realize the damage it has done. People are very quick to judge him, call him names and crucify him on social media because of it without realizing that at 19 years old, he doesn’t know the gravity of words spoken. He has learned his lesson and this will help him grow and mature in life. And now that he knows better, He will do better. May this also serve as a reminder for us to not define and label a person by the mistakes they’ve committed but from how they rise up, rebuild and become a better person they are really supposed to be. Matatandaang nabalot ng kontroberiya si Russu matapos lumutang ang isang lumang tweet nito na pumapabor sa pagpapasara ng ABS-CBN network.
Bago pa man tuluyang mapalabas ng bahay ni Kuya, umamin na at humingi ng tawad si Russu nang mapag-usapan nila ni Big Brother o Kuya ang naging stand nito sa usapin ng ABS-CBN shutdown.
Tinanggap naman ni Kuya ang pagpapakumababa at paghingi nito ng paumanhin.
Ngunit salungat dito ang naging reaksiyon ng mga manonood lalo na ng mga loyal na Kapamilya supporters.
Tila nagkaisa ang karamihan ng mga manonood para iboto si Russu at humantong nga ito sa pagkaka-evict nito kagabi.
Sa paglabas nito, nagpasalamat ito sa mga sumuporta sa pananatili nito sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya at humingi ng paumanhin sa mga Kapamilya.
Samantala, tila hindi naging maganda ang pagtanggap ng mga Kapamilya at netizens sa tila pagkampi dito ni Toni.

In the same way, learning one’s lesson also takes time. It doesn’t happen overnight. So to say that the perpetrator knows better and will do better are premature claims.

Yes Robi & Toni handled the #PBB2ndEviction very wel. But i beg to disagree that Russu was a victim of a wrong system. He is old enough to know the truth..to find the TRUTH & yet he chose NOT to coz he was for it, his excuses was just an alibi to get a sympathy. Ain't working now
