Nariti ang ilan sa mga naging reaksiyon ng netizens tungkol dito.

Let’s talk about what’s wrong with the Belo ad.
It’s not the pandemic, Dra. It’s society’s beauty standards and the way capitalists ride on it to exploit our insecurities. It’s the way you make it look like our fatness is a disease and your clinic can cure it away. pic.twitter.com/4nvx4gujHn

Saw the latest ad for Belo Medical.
Read the room. Promote your services, but not at the expense of people's insecurities. We're in a pandemic, and we're all just trying to survive. The last thing people need is an ad that points out body changes. Distasteful and insensitive.

what the fuck was that new Belo ad…
can't believe there was body shaming, skin health shaming, and mental health shaming all in a minute and thirty seconds…
— PAULA (@QuesoDePaula) August 10, 2021
all i'm gonna say about that new belo ad is… agencies, you *can* say no.
— RM3 (@roiswar) August 10, 2021
the new belo ad is a nightmare no matter how you look at it… whether as a consumer, as a marketing student, as a human being suffering from self-esteem issues and the effects of the pandemic…

Thoughts on the Belo Medical #PandemicEffect ad:
The pandemic is stressful enough as it is and preying on consumers’ insecurities isn’t helping either. To paraphrase and add to the words of the beautiful @143redangel—“Ang katawan at ang mukhang ito ay marami nang pinagdaanan”.

Not a SINGLE person involved in that Belo ad had any qualms about it? It wasn't just a choice, it was a series of choices made by dozens of people.

It’s 2021, and shaming anyone for their looks is never okay. Belo’s newest ad is rude, disrespectful especially to young girls and women and this can even lead to long-lasting effects on a person's mental health. Nakakalungkot at nakakahiya. https://t.co/aTho5X0yLL

The Belo ad campaign should have not seen the light of day. But whatever, it didn't even come with a trigger warning on body dysmorphia.
I have never felt bad about myself and my well-being until this ad — tone-deaf and insensitive.

What's wrong on the Belo Ad?
Everything.
It was just a minute of skin & body shaming, so that they can exploit money in people's insecurities, who were just confused by the beauty standard that is set by the same kind people who created this ad.
It's not the #PandemicEffect.

I can’t with Belo’s new ad 🤮
Women shouldn’t be shamed for undergoing physical changes. These are NORMAL and should be the least of our worries right now??? Pressuring women into feeling ashamed of acne and weight gain in a pandemic is just too distasteful.
— Winona (@winonalexandra) August 10, 2021
Parang ewan belo ad 🙄
“Tough times call for beautiful measures”????
No. Tough times call for rest and self love, whatever the physical trait may be

Wtf ano yung AD ng Belo nakaka trigger amputa? As a person who gained weight and had many breakouts this pandemic super nakaka offend?? Ang insensitive?? Ang dami na ngang nangyayari sa mundo do you think we have time to prioritize ourselves? Do you think na we’ll spend our +
